| It's been a really long time since I was on here. So much has happened since the last time i blogged. but i assume no one looks at this anymore so i can get back to writing again. who knows how long i will actually keep this up though. i never was very good at posting. last time i posted, i was dating allen and off to see vanderbilt. since then we broke up, i graduated, moved to LR, and got a job as the weekend producer of KARK. my how fast these days have gone. but i am happy with the way things are. it's interesting how circumstances in life will change who you are. everything that has happened has shaped me and who i am now. i never in a million years thought i would be here today. but i don't regret it. of course there are some things i wished were different, but heck, that's life. roll with the punches and keep your head up. | | |

| i just had the best afternoon that i have had in a while. after i got back from news run throughs (which went great for the first day!) i came back to my dorm and found courtney and carly (the dorm mom's daughters) playing out front. they were picking up acorns and taking off the shells for the squirrels to eat. they asked me to play and so i sat outside on the cold concrete and shelled acorns. we talked. we played. their innocense, trust and faith amazes me. they didn't know me. but they let me into their little world for a half an hour. i had such a wonderful time. i am grateful that i wasn't too busy to stop and play. 30 minutes is of little consequence in the grand scheme of life. today i got to be a kid again. thank you, God for that. | | |
| thank goodness it's friday! this has been a fast week, but it seems like we have been here forever this semester. tonight amber and i are going to get pizza and watch gone with the wind! i am so excited. i have never seen it before.
yay for tv-16 starting next week! and yay for getting to anchor AND produce this semester. this should be interesting...haha. as crazy as it seems, i miss being so busy. this will help me get more things done, surprisingly. no more senoritis attacks!
plans for going to lufkin with the crew! this is the first time i have taken ppl home with me and the fact that allen can keep the guys and the girls can stay with me, makes things easier. party it up in L-town! but first, it's our trip to nashville...there is so much to get done before then. it will be a nice break from searcy. | | |
